The latest addition to the House History Directory is a Somerset property.

The Hall is a six-bedroomed Georgian country house with 1.18 acres of land in the village of Wedmore. It was built in the early 1800s for local magistrate Joseph Wollen. The Wollen’s were a substantial family name in North Somerset

In 1986 the building was converted into a school which could provide education for 80 children. It then became known as The Hall School. It remained in use as a school for just four years.
